how to lose weight heart diet
my name is christine marquette, and i'm aregistered dietitian with the austin regional clinic, and i'm going to talk to you aboutthe sacred heart diet. the sacred heart diet, is actually thought to be based on a diet, from the cardiology department at sacred heart memorial hospital. this is a complete hoax.it's completely false. sacred heart memorial hospital did not develop this diet, and theyreally don't advertise it. they don't take any credit for it. they actually are tryingto convince people that this diet did not originate from their cardiology department.this diet is very similar to the cabbage soup diet, and it's not actually a healthy methodof weight loss. it's a seven day diet, where the primary food that you're eating everyday, is soup. it's a vegetable soup, made
with beef broth and tomatoes, carrots, onions, celery, all the basic soup type vegetables. it doesn't have any starchy vegetables init. day one allows you as much soup as you want, as much fruit as you want, but no bananas.day two, allows you to have vegetables, but no starchy vegetables. day three, is a combinationof fruit and vegetables. day four adds in a little bit of meat, and so on down the list.again, it's very similar to the cabbage soup diet, but again, remember this isn't a nutritionallysound diet. the reason why it causes weight loss, is because it is very low calorie, butas soon as you stop the diet, you will just end up gaining back all the weight that youlost, because primarily when people follow this diet, they lose a lot of water weight, but they're not actually losing any fat. as
how to lose weight heart diet,
soon as they resume their normal eating habits, they actually gain back any weight that they lost, so remember, the sacred heart diet,is not actually from sacred heart memorial hospital. it did not originate in their cardiologydepartment, and it isn't a recommended method of weight loss.
